Jesus just couldn't get away. He would cross lakes late at night and people would find him. He'd go out to the beach to be by himself and sure enough they'd find him. There was something about this Nazarene. There was something about these people. There was something about this amazing inbreaking of the Holy to the unholy. Even bone tired, and stung by the news that his cousin John the Baptizer had been beheaded for telling the truth, he couldn't get away. And at the end of the day when the disciples went to shoo the people away just to enjoy some quiet and rest, Jesus says "no." And he feeds 5000 men plus women and children.

This is the One who says: "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
