Devotionals

Spending time in God’s word and prayer on a regular basis feeds our souls and changes our lives. Consider these resources to help you grow in Christ.

Gain access to a variety of Bible translations at Bible Gateway.

The English Standard Version of the Bible (ESV) is an excellent translation that emphasizes word-for-word accuracy, literary excellence, and depth of meaning. The ESV Online Bible Study Tool is free and accessible on a variety of devices. For a small fee you can add a variety of Bible study resources.

WordGo provides Bible study courses for free and is downloadable on most mobile devices, making Bible study on the go easy. Each course provides you with a daily Bible reading, study questions to reflect on, and a short podcast that explains each day’s passage. WordGo is even more fun when you study with others.

Ligonier was started by the late theologian R.C. Sproul and offers a mammoth amount of Bible study and theological resources, some for free and others at reasonable costs. Go deeper and enroll in one of their Ligonier Connect courses taught by world renown scholars and teachers. You could also tray out their monthly devotional magazine, Tabletalk, of which complementary copies are available at church.

The Read Scripture app helps you read through the entire Bible. The app uses hand-illustrated Bible Project videos to explain difficult concepts and themes. Videos can be accessed here.
